I’m Kristyne McDaniel, and I’m a consulting web and desktop software developer.

I was first diagnosed with Type II diabetes in 1995, and have been insulin dependent for approximately 10 years. In addition to my own issues with diabetes, I have family members that have lost limbs to the disease, and one family member that died from kidney failure.

While I’m very aware of just how insidious diabetes can be, I am also aware that diabetes is a chronic disease that can be managed with careful attention. The posts on www.DiabetesNMe.com are intended to assist diabetics and their family and friends in managing this disease to the best of their ability.
